Colourful Rolags for Spinning

The process of carding wool allows your fibre to fluff up while releasing its strands to slide past each other more easily during drafting and spinning.

Blending woollen fibre on a blending board allows you to play with the colours used and their positioning in the layers created.

Once they are hand-carded the small batt is then rolled up into beautiful colourful neat and hollow cylinders, ready for spinning.

Prepared carded fibre in the form of Rolags are an excellent way for new and experienced spinners to jump right into spinning.

All my Rolags are made of Corriedale Silver Ashford Wool. They vary in colours, sizes and weights. This means they will vary in price based on each individual Rolag.
